Learn how to create and engage your students in the use of ePorfolios.

At the core, this workshop focuses on a summative (high stakes) assessment: ePortfolios. Participants will learn about ePortfolio and its benefits as a learning/reflective tool. Like in good cooking, we marinate the meat, let it simmer for a while, and then cook it. On ePortfolios, students submit their work (audio, text, video, etc.), let it “sit” for a while, go back to it, and reflect on it. Upon that reflection, they resubmit a better version of their assignment with notes on how and why they made changes. Reflection promotes critical thinking skills and improves the quality of the product being reflected on.

You will receive the PD Participation Badge after you complete and provide feedback. This will enter you into the EdTech Innovation Chase, which is a game-based digital badging system to provide badges for participating in professional development activities, mentoring, and innovating.
