Mindful Conversations Session 1: Learning with Your Eyes Closed (Hands-on-Activity) 10/23/2017
In Session 1, we will experience firsthand sensory learning techniques, and then brainstorm ideas to start developing new learning activities with eyes closed.
This hands-on workshop explores what happens when we learn something with our eyes closed. Expect to participate in a series of practices, including visualization and meditation techniques, kinesthetic practice with eyes closed, and more. Workshops will be held in the Piano Room, and music keyboards will be used as a learning tool for some activities. This hands-on workshop serves as a creative lab and forum to Investigate how sensory learning techniques can be incorporated in the classroom.
