Assessment Tools Aligning Learning Outcomes with Assessment Schema 2/23/2022
The workshop will discuss the concepts of Backward Design and Cognitive Levels of Bloom's Taxonomy to determine and (re)evaluate course learning objectives. It will also focus on types of assignments that best correspond to each Cognitive Level allowing the instructor to create an assessment schema that measures student performance and learning outcomes.
Since the feedback for colleagues and peers in developing an assessment schema is crucial, the workshop participants will be engaged in group activities.
