• 20 Years of Teaching Excellence: Celebrating Diversity and Retention on Teaching Day

  In coordination with National Teaching Week, the Hostos Teaching Day event seeks to recognize and highlight the different facets of teaching and learning, and how Hostos has transformed the professional and personal lives of faculty, students, and staff. Join us on May 2nd and May 30th, for an unforgettable celebration of the Center for Teaching and Learning’s 20th anniversary!

  We are thrilled to announce that as part of our Teaching Day celebration and 20th anniversary, we will be hosting a panel discussion featuring former and current directors of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).

  Join us for a thought-provoking conversation as we explore the evolution of CTL and the pivotal role it has played in shaping our institution's approach to teaching and learning excellence. The panelists will share their insights, experiences, and challenges in creating and sustaining a center that promotes a culture of innovation, community building, and growth in education.

  Our esteemed panelists include former directors who played a critical role in shaping CTL's early days, as well as current directors who continue to build upon its successes. Together, they will provide a unique perspective on the journey of CTL, from its inception to its current status as a vital hub of teaching and learning innovation.
